-- Biography --
Don Locke has worked as a graphic artist and illustrator for NBC’S Tonight Show for the last 27 years while freelancing as a writer in the entertainment industry. He also enjoys painting, collecting old stereoviews, and losing to his brother Rick at golf on a regular basis. Don has two grown sons, Morgan and Graham, and two stepsons, Donny and Doug with his wife Susan. The couple lives together in Southern California with their dog, Spencer.

Growing up in suburban Chicago, Don was always encouraged by his parents to explore and express his creative tendencies, for which he is very thankful. The battles of forgiveness and his desire to go home seem to be reoccurring themes in many of Don’s works. He loves the challenge of the blank page and the rewriting process. In fact he prefers writing to talking because the editing process is so much less painful.

The Reluctant Journey of David Connors is Don’s first book, while The Summer the Wind Whispered my Name is the prequel.
